Mental health is a state of well-being in which a person realizes their capabilities, can deal with common stress of life and contribute to the community. It is determined by multiple social, psychological, and biological factors. Psychology is responsible for the study, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of their pathologies or related problems that may be the focus of clinical attention.
María del Mar Díaz Laínez is graduated in Psychology by the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid since 1992. She also studied a Master in Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy and Postgraduate Course in Neuropsychology.
She has been working as a General Health Psychologist since 1999 with extensive experience in the management of anxiety disorders, mood, couples therapy, child behavior problems, emotional support to the patient with chronic medical pathology and neuropsychological evaluations.
